Free Love is operated by RadLabs LLC ("Free Love," "we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have. We built Free Love so the product makes is aligned with helping people make real plans, not selling personal information. We do not sell your personal information.

Who can use Free Love

Free Love is for adults 18 and older only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we remove accounts we learn are underage.

What we collect

Account: your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash).

Profile you provide: display name, date of birth (to confirm you are 18+ and show your age), gender, who you are seeking, city, photos, prompts, a short bio, and your answers to compatibility questions. Some of these — such as who you are seeking — can indicate sexual orientation. You choose what to share, and by adding it you consent to us using it to match you. Optional fields stay optional.

Activity in the app: likes and passes, matches, messages, event RSVPs, reports you submit, date plans, post-date feedback, and when you were last active.

Message safety: each message you try to post is checked by our safety processor for clearly prohibited content before it is delivered. A message that does not pass is not posted.

Message suggestions: when personalized suggestions are available, we process limited profile details, profile prompts, your selected personality answers, and recent messages from that Connection to draft optional, editable replies. We keep privacy-minimized diversity and usage signals, not a second plaintext copy of each suggested message.

Support: the email address, subject, and message you choose to send through the in-app support form.

Notifications: if you opt in, we store an Apple device token linked to your account so we can notify you when your Founding Member access opens. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.

Purchases: if you choose optional patronage, we receive the Apple product and transaction information needed to verify, provide, and restore optional patronage. Apple processes payment details; we do not receive your card or bank information.

We do not collect precise device GPS location. Your location is the city you choose.

How we use it

To create and run your account; to select Introductions and compute compatibility; to deliver connections, messages, and events; to keep the community safe (photo review, reporting, blocking, message safety checks, and removing bad actors); to notify you when access opens if you opt in; to draft optional personalized message suggestions; to provide optional patronage; and to operate the service. We do not use your data to serve you third-party behavioral ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Who we share it with

Other members: your profile, photos, prompts, and activity signals are shown to other members as part of normal use (subject to your settings, such as incognito).

Service providers: we use Supabase to host our database, authentication, storage, and realtime chat, acting as our processor. We use OpenAI to process the limited profile and conversation context needed to generate optional message suggestions and the message text needed for a pre-publication safety check. Apple processes optional in-app purchases. These providers process only what their function requires. Apple delivers optional push notifications.

Legal: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our members.

We never sell your personal information.

How long we keep it, and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings. This erases your account, profile, photos, prompts, compatibility answers, likes, matches, messages, reports, event RSVPs, support requests, and purchase records and notification tokens held by Free Love. Deletion is immediate in our active systems and cannot be undone. Our infrastructure provider may retain encrypted backups for a limited disaster-recovery period before routine expiration. Apple keeps its own purchase records under Apple's policies.

Your rights

You can access and edit your profile in the app, delete your account, and contact us to request a copy of your data. Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights, including to object to or restrict certain processing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to your records is enforced at the database level so members can only read what they are meant to. No system is perfectly secure, but we design to hold as little sensitive data as possible — for example, we are built not to store copies of verification documents.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
